Laundromat chain UClean said it is expanding its global presence by opening 25 stores in the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) and 50 stores in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regions.

New Delhi: Arunabh Sinha, an IITian from Mumbai, declined a high-paying job at Tata Steel to start UClean laundry with his wife for an initial investment of just 20 lakhs and turned it into a 100 crores company in just six years.

Arunabh Sinha, the founder of UClean is an IIT Bombay alumnus started UClean in Delhi in October 2016, and today it is the biggest laundromats chain in India with a presence in over 100 cities. Sinha, who was born in Jamshedpur to an average lower middle-class family to a tutor father and a homemaker mother did his masters in Metallurgy and Materials Science from IIT Bombay.
